Volunteer and Internship Information Session – The Borgen Project

The information event hosted by The Borgen Project will provide valuable resources for individuals interested in making a difference through volunteering or internships. Attendees will learn how to apply, what roles are available, and the requirements for each position. Recognizing that our volunteer roles can require a significant time commitment, I will also share smaller-scale opportunities—such as fundraising initiatives or contacting local representatives—for those seeking more flexible ways to contribute.

In particular, the event will cover:

Volunteer and internship opportunities that offer experience in journalism, politics, and the non-profit sector

Short-term ways to engage in meaningful advocacy work, both locally and nationally

The importance and benefits of Canadian foreign aid, and how it supports both global development and local communities like Vaughan
