CTW York Region is a youth executive team here at Volunteer Connect. We handle all things volunteerism, from creating our own events, meeting community needs and promoting a wide variety of others’ in the community. More importantly, we want to make sure ALL youth in York Region are connected to meaningful opportunities and educated about community involvement.

Orientation to Volunteerism: Whether you are volunteering to give back to the community, to be engaged in the community, or responding to an urgent need; whatever the reason maybe, you are building the capacity to deliver essential programs and services for the community. This orientation to volunteerism, is designed for you to have a thorough understanding of what it means to volunteer in Canada, and how you play an important role that will make your community a better place for everyone. Youth Opportunity Spotlight
The Believe Initiative, founded by Olympian Sarah Wells, is looking for capable and passionate student leaders to run a Believe Leadership Chapter at their school! The Believe Leadership Course that each Chapter facilitates, will teach important leadership, entrepreneurship, and mental wellness skills to high school students all while helping them earn volunteer hours.Â
You will set up, recruit members, and execute a 7 week student led program to help your members build leadership skills and complete a Believe Passion Project.
