Designed for youth and adults diagnosed with, or suspected to have, a Learning Disability and / or ADHD, between the ages of 19 to 29. This is a nine (9) session individual counseling program that focuses on the socio-emotional effects of LDs and ADHD.
Final Dates and times to be determined upon registration*
This is a 9-week program that offers supportive counseling to someone who has or may be suspected to have a learning disability or ADHD.
Learning Objectives:
Understanding how your Learning Disability and / or ADHD affects your life.
Understanding barriers and creating coping strategies.
Understanding interpersonal relationships and developing social skills.
Understanding your mental health and developing a toolbox of anxiety, stress, and coping strategies that work for you.
Building decision-making and advocacy skills to reach your full potential.
We are currently offering you the Strategies for Life program at zero cost to you*!
Fee for 9 weeks sessions:
$60 non members
$56 for members
Subsidy available
Subsidy Criteria:
Must be between the ages 19 to 29 years old.
Must have a diagnosis of Learning Disability and / or ADHD.
Must be a residence of York Region or Simcoe
