International Volunteer Managers Day

Universally, people recognize the contribution of volunteers who are involved in just about every aspect of service delivery in all walks of life. However, volunteering does not succeed in a vacuum. That is why we celebrate International Volunteer Managers Day (IVMD) every year on November 5.
IVMD reminds us that the spirit of volunteerism is enhanced and enabled by Volunteer Management professionals – and for this, they should be thanked. Just as important is the opportunity to educate others about this important work, which is why the IVMD organizers encourage the catch phrase“Education through Celebration” when we acknowledge IVMD each year.
We urge you to mark your calendar and not miss this opportunity to raise awareness about the role of Volunteer management professionals.
