Nat 'Sweetwater' Clifton, was the first African American to sign an NBA contract, permanently altering the way basketball is played. He is the protagonist of the 2023 American biographical sports film Sweetwater. Everett Osborne plays Clifton in this Martin Guigui-written and directed film.
