Mixed media presents many opportunities to play, explore and have fun, especially collage. Accessible to just about everyone and everywhere, it gives creatives an opportunity to explore and play with colour, shape, subtlety and texture in ways that traditional painting doesn’t allow. For anyone looking to build more mastery, get over a creative block or just create, collage is a wonderful way in. In this presentation, Sharon will demonstrate how to introduce collage into your practice as a problem solver, tool for growth and creative enhancement. Techniques for using collage as a standalone medium as well as integration into a more traditional painting will be covered.
