Markham Village Indigenous Nature Walk

Join Alan Colley from Toronto Aboriginal Eco Tours for a three-hour outdoor program to learn Ojibway Creation stories and partake in a gratitude circle. The program will start in the green space outside of the Markham Village Library (near Veteran’s Square) at 10 AM, after which (around 11 AM) we will walk down to the Rouge River for an ecotour to explore our relationship with nature. Colley will introduce attendees to Indigenous teaching, including the 7 Grandfather Teachings, 13 Grandmother Moon Teachings and Medicine Wheel Teachings.

All ages are welcome! All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
