Advent is the period of preparation for Christmas. The three faith-filled people who who help Christians in their journey through Advent are the Prophet Isaiah who foretold the coming of the Messiah; John the Baptist who was his immediate forerunner; and, Mary the Mother of Jesus who carried the Savior of the world and expectantly awaited his birth.
