Join Creating Alternatives on their Saturday Social.
Recreational activities continue to advance social and communications skills, foster and build relationships with friends and provide a safe, inclusive environment in a fun, relaxed setting.
These fun-focused activities are used as a means of increasing community awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles, enriching friendships, as well as continuing social skills development with peers, and community members.
Emphasis is placed on providing participants with the opportunity to plan and attend an experience of their choice, independently.

November 13 – Bowling at Splitsville and lunch at Swiss Chalet
November 27 – Movie day Colossus and lunch at Jack Astors
December 4 – Holiday shopping at Yorkdale and lunch at The Cheesecake Factory
December 18 – Holiday experience at Casa Loma and lunch
