Black Heritage Collection Launch Celebration

Markham Public Library is celebrating the launch of a revitalized Black Heritage Collection on May 6 at Milliken Mills Library. Join us as we celebrate this special occasion. There will be lots of fun for the whole family.
10 – 10:30 a.m.: Family Storytime with MPL
10:30 – 11 a.m.: Special storytelling with author Sandra Whiting
11 – 11:30 a.m.: Official remarks by: Mayor Scarpitti, Councillor Isa Lee, Dr. Mary Anne Chambers, MPL CEO Catherine Biss, Jamaal Kossy (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist from City of Markham)
11:30 – 12 p.m.: Interactive drumming performance by Richard Best from VIBE Arts
12 – 1 p.m.: Family activities
