SUMMARY:Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay
DESCRIPTION:The Oak Ridges Moraine Adventure Relay is the charitable fundraising event for the Oak Ridges Trail Association (ORTA). The race is an epic one-day adventure relay that will take place on Saturday\, June 13 2026\, drawing athletes and outdoor enthusiasts from across Ontario. Spanning approximately 160km from Rice Lake to Aurora (with a shorter half-relay on the eastern course)\, the relay combines canoeing\, mountain biking\, road cycling\, and trail running across the stunning Oak Ridges Moraine. \nJoin the action and help create an unforgettable experience for racers while supporting trail conservation. As a volunteer\, you’ll experience the excitement up close and play a vital role in making it\nhappen. From cheering at checkpoints\, assisting with timing\, logistics and promotion to maintaining the trail in the lead up to the race – there’s a role for every skill set. \nVolunteering for the Adventure Relay is about making a real impact on Ontario’s trails and being part of an adventurous outdoor community. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day\, your contribution\nmatters. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join Steer Friends for their 6th Annual Steering for Steer Friends Automotive Festival on Saturday\, June 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Stouffville Athletic Center. This free\, family-friendly event brings together car enthusiasts\, local businesses\, and the community in support of programs for adults with physical and developmental disabilities and complex care needs. \nExplore over 200 indoor and outdoor vehicles\, including classic\, exotic\, and custom builds. Enjoy a full day of entertainment with kids’ activities\, inflatables\, food trucks\, live music\, and local vendors.
