DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\, \nMany of you are huge fans of Thursday Nights at the Bandstand and were extremely disappointed when you heard the program had been terminated due to costs associated with road closure safety. Thanks to the community and the petition that was delivered and received at the City of Markham\, support for some costs have been found. As this year’s events are now back ‘ON’ albeit slightly later than usual\, the organizers are struggling to raise the necessary funds to cover the full cost of all the musicians\, sound\, lighting\, and support services. As such they are having to reach out to the community for a bit of support.
