It has been ten years since the launch of the York Region Food Charter\, and a lot has changed in our regional food system. The Food Charter is a guiding document for the development of coordinated food-related policies and programs in York Region with a current focus on health and well-being\, economic opportunities\, environmental sustainability\, education and skills\, and equity and social justice. \nThe York Region Food Charter is under review and we want to hear from you! Join the York Region Food Council on November 30th at 6:30pm for an interactive evening where you can let your voice be heard. A light dinner will be provided.
