DESCRIPTION:Are you a newcomer looking to understand how employment insurance works?  \nThe Federal Government’s Employment Insurance (EI) program offers temporary financial assistance to workers. This session\, provided by staff of Service Canada\, is a virtual webinar about Employment Insurance and how it relates to you. By attending\, you will obtain an excellent overview of the EI program\, the application process\, and the conditions for receiving benefits. Information will be provided on the types of EI benefits such as the Sickness and Maternity & Parental benefits\, eligibility\, and actions required for maintaining benefits. You will also learn about electronic services\, such as the Job Bank and accessing a My Service Canada Account. \nThis program is provided in partnership with Service Canada.  \nRegistrants will receive an email with the Zoom link 1 day prior to the program. \n
