Born in Rome in 1914\, Bo Bardi was an Italian-Brazilian architect\, set designer\, editor\, illustrator\, furniture designer\, and curator. Through a series of choreographed performances and multiple screen installations\, the film showcases Bo Bardi’s extraordinary legacy and the significant impact her work had on the 20th century Latin American Modernist architecture movement. The film focuses on Bo Bardi’s most iconic buildings and creative projects. Throughout the film\, director Isaac Julien highlights the extraordinary legacy of Bo Bardi’s work and the lasting impact she had as an artist. \n
